It’s one of the luxurious Lodges in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park- Buhoma sector. The lodge is strategically located at a point with dramatic intense views of the forest canopy across a serene stream; it is one of Africa’s unique properties. While at Bwindi Lodge, lucky visitors can be welcomed by mountain Gorillas because they use to visit the Lodge.
The lodge was fully renovated in 2018, now features a redesigned guest lounge and dining area that brings the feel of the real tropical forest.
There is a fire place where people sit to talk about Gorilla trekking experience. A newly designed outdoor terrace gives dramatic views of the impenetrable forest and is a great place to sight for monkeys and many bird species.
The eight standard bandas, each with the forest views, have been totally restyled with warm luxurious interiors and inviting four poster beds and locally-inspired furniture. A new Deluxe Banda has opened in June 2019 and one more will be opening later in the year.
There is Humula Forest Spa which was opened in April 2018, a sauna and new massage room to be finished by the end of 2019.
The bar is well composed with all types of drinks suitable for our guests. You can visit it to refresh yourself after or before Gorilla trekking.
