Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport – Transfer to Kibale National Park
On arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be welcomed by our professional safari guide/ driver – transfer to Kibale National Park (Home of chimpanzees). Arrival for dinner and overnight at Nyabulitwa Resort, Isunga Lodge, Primate Lodge Kibale, Kibale Forest Camp or Turaco Treetops.
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking – afternoon relaxation
After breakfast, transfer to the briefing point for 30 minutes informative study. Thereafter, transfer into the jungle to search for the chimps. Meet them and stay for 1 hour, take photos/ films and then return to your Lodge for relaxation as you wait for dinner and overnight at your previous.
Day 3: Transfer to Mountain Rwenzori – Tour around the slopes
After breakfast, transfer to the slopes of mountain of the moon. Enjoy guided natural walk along the slopes of Mountain Rwenzori. Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National park for dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge, Twin Lake Lodge, Enganzi Lodge, Katara Lodge.
Day 4: Morning Game drive OR boat cruise – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park.
After breakfast, embark on the vehicle to see a variety of wild animals like elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Leopards, waterbucks and so on. Have lunch and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Dinner and overnight at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, Gorilla Mist Camp OR Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day 5: Gorilla trekking- afternoon relaxation
After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters (with packed lunch and water). Have 30 minutes briefing about gorilla tracking. Thereafter, join your trackers and head up the slopes of the forest to visit one of the habituated groups of gorillas. The trek is quite strenuous, so you should be able to hike for 2-5hours on steep mountain trails before meeting gorillas camouflaged in thick vegetation. Enjoy the view and take photographs for a maximum of one hour. Return for lunch and relax as you wait for dinner and overnight at your previous Lodge.
Day 6: Return to Entebbe Airport – Stopover at the Uganda Equator
After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe Airport- en-route stopover at Uganda Equator for experiments and take photos. Proceed to Entebbe for evening departure.
