Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up from in Entebbe – transfer to Kibale National Park (Home to chimpanzees). Arrival for lunch and relax as you wait for dinner and overnight at Kibale Primate Lodge, Chimps Nest Lodge or Chimpanzee Guest House.
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking – Nocturnal walk
After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about chimp trekking. Thereafter, you will join groups and walk to meet chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Meet chimps, chat, take photos/ films- view them for the maximum of one hour. Return to your Lodge for relaxation as you prepare for night walk tour in Kibale forest to see night moving mammals like bush babies, leopards and so on. Return for dinner and overnight as on day 1.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Home of 13 habituated Mountain Gorilla families)
After breakfast, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via mountains of the moon (Mt. Rwenzori)- proceed through Queen Elizabeth National Park with clear views of different wild animals- continue to Ishasha sector where you may encounter the tree climbing lions. Reach the park- relax as you wait for dinner and overnight at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge, Gift of Nature Lodge, Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking – afternoon Music, dance and drama performed by the Batwa Pygmies
After breakfast, you will move to the park headquarters – join other fellow trekkers for briefing and then transfer to meet one of the habituated groups of Mountain Gorillas. Meet Gorillas in their natural habitat, chat and take photos/films for the maximum of one hour. Return to your Lodge for lunch; relax as you prepare for lots of entertainment from Batwa communities. You will have dinner and overnight as on the previous Lodge.
Day 5: Drive back to Entebbe Airport – Evening Departure
After breakfast, you will return to Entebbe International Airport for your evening departure flight.
