Day 1: Entebbe Airport – Transfer to Bwindi Impenentrable National park
You will meet our safari guide at Entebbe Airport – Transfer to the home of Mountain Gorillas (8-10 hrs drive). Expect to see lots of attraction on the way to Bwindi Impenentrable National Park (stop over at the Uganda Equator, Mpabire drum makers and so on). Arrival for dinner and overnight at Bwindi Jungle Lodge, Mahogany spring Lodge, Nkuringo Gorilla Camp, Gorilla Mist camp, Bakiga Lodge or Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking – Batwa community tour
After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters (with packed lunch and water). Have 30 minutes briefing about gorilla tracking. Thereafter, join your trackers and head up the slopes of the forest to visit one of the habituated groups of gorillas. The trek is quite strenuous, so you should be able to hike for 2-5hours on steep mountain trails before meeting gorillas camouflaged in thick vegetation. Enjoy the view and take photographs for a maximum of one hour. Return to the park headquarters for lunch, relax as you prepare for Batwa community tour. Dinner and overnight as on day 1.
Day 3: Return to Entebbe Airport or cross to Kigali Airport – departure.
After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe or Kigali – departure
