Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe Airport to Kibale National Park
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!After breakfast, you will be picked by the guide/driver and transfer to Kibale national park in western Uganda via Mubende and Fort portal. Stopover in Fort portal for lunch and proceed north wards to Kibale national park (5-6 hrs) drive. Dinner and overnight at Crater safari lodge, Isunga lodge, Primate lodge.
Day 2: Half day chimpanzee habituation and transfer to Bwindi national park
Have very early morning breakfast and move to the park headquarters for briefing and paper work by the ranger guides and get ready to move in the rain forest of kibale national park the natural habitat for chimpanzees habituation. This entails making the chimpanzees getting used to human beings as guided by the rangers, it will take you 4-6hrs then exit the forest to your hotel for lunch and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla safari lodge, Gorilla mist camp, Broad bill forest camp.
Day 3: Gorilla trekking and community walk
After morning breakfast, with your trekking gears ready, move to the park headquarters for briefing from the ranger guides and embark on the memorable experience of gorilla trekking in the forest of Bwindi impenetrable national which habits the mountain gorillas. Start on the search of the gorillas for 1- 8 hrs depending on how far the gorillas have gone. After encountering them, you have 1 hr to interact, take photos and videos with the gorillas before you leave them. Return to your lodge for refreshments and relaxation, after you can go an evening walk to the Batwa community and enjoy their memorable cultural dances and entertainment. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer back to Entebbe for your flight back
In the morning after breakfast transfer back to Kampala via Kabale, Mbarara and stopover at Agip motel for lunch and proceed up to the equator, stopover for photography and last shopping then proceed to Entebbe airport for your flight back to your next destination.
