Uganda has a total of ten National parks. These are; Murchison Falls National Park, Kidepo Valley National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Mount Elgon National Park, Kibale National Park, Mount Rwenzori National Park, Semuliki National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Lake Mburo National Park and Mgahinga National park.

Uganda National Park Rules And Regulations
- Do not camp or make fire camps except at official sites. Avoid making fires except under the guidance of rangers, campfires are only allowed in designed campsite areas, and unauthorized campfire settings scare away animals.
- Do not drive off the tracks. Off-track driving should be done under the guidance of rangers, safari guides are only allowed to drive through the legalized routes to protect the bushes, forests, animals, and birds.
- Do not drop litter, especially cigarette ends or matches. Litter transfers the disease to the wild animals when they are eaten which may lead to their death also cigarette ends and matches may lead to fires breaking out in the park.
- Do not disturb the wildlife by sounding motor horns. Motor horns scare away the animals from their habitats and also disturb the peace of the wild game.
- Do not drive in the park between 7:30 pm and 6:30 am. Driving through the park at night is not allowed unless guided by the rangers and it is paid for to avoid knocking the nocturnal which move at night the vehicles doing night game drives should be able to give maximum light
- Do not bring dogs or other pets to the park. The dogs and other pets may bring diseases to the animals in the park and also may attack the animals.
- Do not pick flowers or destroy any vegetation. Learn that the parks are natural habitats for wildlife so they need to be conserved for future generations.
- Do not bring firearms or ammunition into the park. Firearms like guns and other ammunition destruct security and scare away the wild animals and other people in the park as they look at you as a security threat.
- Do not exceed the speed limit of 40km per hour. Speeding in the park above 40km per hour is prohibited because may cause accidents in the park and lead to the death of wildlife.
Retain all official receipts for entrance, boat trips, and fishing among others as you may be requested to show them during your time of stay.
