Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is among the few tropical national parks that have tarmac road access. Though the roads within the same national park are not tarmac, you can be sure that you will drive 90% of your journey to Bwindi on a tarmac road.
The park can be accessed from Entebbe International Airport in Uganda Or from Kigali International Airport in Rwanda. From each location, you can reach the park by road; 8 hours drive from Entebbe and 3-4hrs drive from Kigali.
Alternatively, you can fly from Entebbe Airport to Kihihi or Kisoro Air trip and then drive to the park.
Mountain Gorillas
World wide Mountain Gorillas are the rare but most interesting primates to see. It should as well be noted that Uganda hosts the largest number of mountain Gorillas on planet earth and Bwindi forest alone protects almost half of them. The Batwa Pygmies
